With strong practice experience as a Dispute Resolution lawyer, you will have a solid understanding of the practical processes relevant to dispute resolution and litigation practice in Australia.Reporting to the Content Manager, this is a permanent role (4-5 days a week), preferably within commuting distance of one of our State-based offices (Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane) but with the opportunity to work flexibly and/or remotely.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain high quality up-to-date practical legal content, including guidance notes, checklists, precedents, legal updates and other tools.Prepare and maintain practically-focused content as well as practical resources for our popular Practical Guidance product that is Australia's most established and trusted 'how-to' of legal practice.Provide support to Relationship Managers to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.Participate in or contribute to in-market activities (eg masterclasses, webinars, customer feedback sessions).Requirements3+ years PQEAustralian qualified lawyerRecent experience in an Australian mid to top tier law firm or in-house counsel roleA recent practice background in dispute resolution and litigationEssential: civil litigation experience in Australian courts and familiarity with civil litigation practice and procedureExcellent communication and plain-English writing skillsAptitude for building and fostering relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholdersExcellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.Work in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
