About the Role As the Vice President of Product Development at Fièra Cosmetics, you will lead the development and expansion of our product portfolio, ensuring every new product aligns with Fièra’s mission to deliver innovative, high-quality beauty solutions for women over 40. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will oversee the entire product development process, from ideation to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring exclusive products to market. With a keen eye on trends and market insights, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining Fièra’s product strategy, working with manufacturers and vendors to ensure each product is safe, effective, and resonates with our audience. Responsibilities Product Development Leadership

• Lead the strategy and execution of Fièra’s product development initiatives, ensuring a focus on innovation, quality, and consumer needs.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to conceptualize and launch new products across makeup, skincare, and hair care.
• Define product briefs, including feature requirements, benefits, and market positioning, ensuring products meet the needs of women over 40.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with 3rd party manufacturers and labs, negotiating terms and ensuring products are developed on time and within budget.
• Identify and source new, innovative manufacturing partners to improve product quality and streamline development processes.

• Oversee all phases of product development, from initial conceptualization to production, ensuring each product meets Fièra’s high-quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ensure that all products undergo rigorous testing, ensuring safety, performance, and efficacy.

• Monitor competitor activity, emerging market trends, and consumer needs to inform product strategy.
• Stay on top of developments in the beauty and wellness industry, ensuring Fièra remains a leader in product innovation.

• Work closely with packaging and design teams to ensure packaging reflects the product’s essence while being cost-effective and functional.
• Partner with the marketing and creative teams to ensure seamless go-to-market strategies and campaigns.

• 5+ years of experience in product development, including at least 3 years focused on colour cosmetics. Additional experience in skincare and wellness products is a plus.
• Extensive experience with product formulation, testing, and manufacturing processes, along with a strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• A passion for beauty, wellness, and serving the unique needs of women over 40.
