Position: Head of Facilities Location: Karachi Responsibilities: We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Head of Facilities to direct the running of our client's facilities to create a safe and efficient work environment that improves business performance and optimizes staff productivity. This includes facilities management operations of client premises and ensuring the provision of all engineering maintenance (MEP) and administrative services, which include catering, housekeeping, building maintenance, buildout, HSE, budget, move projects, security, etc. (delivered by third-parties where appropriate). The ideal candidate for this role should possess a minimum of 10 years of Integrated Facility Management Experience (Local / International) and must have good communication and client management skills, excellent organizational skills, along with broad knowledge of business functions and project management experience. The Head of Facilities must understand the technical aspects of the property, support day-to-day business operations, ensure efficient operation of facilities, mitigate risk, and ensure that facilities meet the needs of clients and staff. Head of Facilities Responsibilities:
- Overseeing contractors.
- Handling security, cleaning, and catering.
- Providing site support.
- Coordinating routine maintenance and repairs.
- Scheduling renovations.
- Managing waste disposal.
- Budgeting and estimating costs.
- Designing and planning facilities layout.
- Training staff on safety procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and laws.
- Degree in engineering with a Business degree (MBA).
- 10 years of Integrated Facility Management Experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
