DCN SME 2 Required Technical Skill Set** Cisco DCN, ACI 6-10 years Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)· Working experience in Agile Environment · Desired Certifications: Professional level (e.g. CCNP, CCIE) or equivalent relevant certification and skills · Good understanding of Inter and Intra Tenant traffic flows, contracts · Understanding of how other technologies work alongside Cisco's ACI and Nexus 7K/5K/2K switches · Hands-On Experience of Cisco Switches Catalyst Series (4500, 6500 and 9K series) and Cisco Nexus series (3K,5K,7K and 9K/with ACI mode) · Experience in L2 outs, L3 outs, VMM integration · Experience in Troubleshooting traffic flows, routing and L3 policies. Good-to-Have · F5 Load Balancer · Cisco WAF · Cisco WSA SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Create technical documentation such as topologies, detailed, and conceptual designs, implementation plans, and documents around client solutions. 2 Participate in technology specific projects for services like implementation, migration, or support. 3 Understand and gather client requirements, design, and implement technical solutions that meet customer’s needs 4 Responsible for the DCN network architecture Nexus 9K,7K, 5K and 2K and VSS components 5 Responsible for the Cisco ACI network architecture component(s)6 Understand and support Data Center Networks utilizing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms 7 Integrate service appliances to Cisco ACI deployments to include Application Delivery Controllers and Firewalls 8 Configuring ACI to maximize network efficiency and security 9 Very good Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting of Network Connectivity 10 Maintain pro-activeness on alerts/tasks by leveraging existing network monitoring tools. 11 Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting Updating network equipment to the latest firmware 12 Reporting network status to key stakeholders when business critical tickets are raised by peer groups.
