The Job : Working as part of the group finance team but reporting directly to the Head of Sustainability, this new hire will oversee the implementation of new ESG initiatives across the organisation & ensure compliance with upcoming as well as ongoing local & EU focused reporting requirements. More specifically, the candidate will cover duties including, but not limited to, developing & implementing ESG roadmaps, monitoring & ensuring compliance with CSRD reporting, coordinating data gathering processes, managing project budgets, validating compliance data, developing audit frameworks for ongoing usage & engaging with key internal & external stakeholders on all relevant projects. Your Skills/Experience that we need :
- 3rd level degree (or above) qualified - accounts/finance, data reporting or science preferred.
- Further qualifications or knowledge of environmental or sustainability focused programmes would be an advantage - eg CSRD or EU Taxonomy.
- 2-3+ years experience in an ESG focused role.
- Experience in managing audits & data reporting.
- Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to engage with people at all levels of seniority.
- Proven ability to manage projects to deadlines.
