Summary: SAP’s Business Technology Platform helps customers achieve operational excellence through the advanced analysis of their data. The Integration & Data Management group is an interdisciplinary team that helps drive the development and architectural direction of our flagship analytics product - SAP Analytics Cloud. Collaborating with teams across the globe, we focus on delivering data integration capabilities within the product. As a hybrid team, we divide our time between remote work and collaborating in person at our AppHaus, a unique physical space for software development. Working on SAP's Business Technology Platform and SAP Analytics Cloud, our group is working at the forefront of delivering scalable, highly available Cloud solutions that will be a key enabler for SAP's AI, Analytics & Planning offerings. The Role: We're looking for a Quality & Automation Engineer with experience in Cloud technologies and/or general automation techniques to join us in building the new innovations in SAP Analytics Cloud. Our product stack and tools include:

• Java and Node microservices
• Typescript frontend
• Cloud Foundry/ Kubernetes as a platform
• SAP HANA Cloud
• Python unit tests, Jest, Jasmine, Cypress and Robot Framework with Selenium Library testing technologies

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Define, execute (automated) and maintain functional and technical test cases for complex cloud deployments
2. Liaising with Product Owners/development leads to specify test objectives
3. Automating end-to-end scenario tests for new features as they are released
4. Drive the quality agenda within the group, apply software testing best practice and continue a culture of delivering excellence
5. Monitoring test & performance automation results, reporting status and ensuring compliance with SAP quality standards and processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Demonstrable experience in automation frameworks/technologies
• Experience working in an agile software development team
• API testing experience
• Performance/Load testing experience
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
• Web UI, Mobile, Accessibility or security testing
