Work Location: KSA > Riyadh An exciting opportunity is available for Specialist, Sales & Marketing Planning located in Riyadh. POSITION SUMMARY: Works closely with the sales and marketing team, and the Business Planning/Production team. In charge of the overall planning of sales volumes, including forecast, coordination with production, leading S&OP, monitoring sales volumes and ensuring effective allocation and sales of volumes in coordination with sales and market intelligence teams. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for short-term and long-term volume forecast in coordination with sales based on market needs and plant constraints. Creates, maintains, and fine-tunes the rolling volume forecast.
  2. Represents the interests of the Marketing team in the S&OP meetings to negotiate and receive the grades and allocations as planned. Also, in charge of coordinating any changes to the production plan during the course of the month due to changes in the markets, production constraints, etc.
  3. In charge of receiving the final production plan and creating the optimized sales plan.
  4. In charge of monitoring the sales with regards to the plan and ensuring the teams follow the plan.
  5. Responsible to flag-off any deviations to the monthly allocations and coordinate with the sales managers to reduce deviations, receive justifications for any deviation, and drive re-planning activities, if there are any requirements during the month.
  6. Responsible to drive the Monthly Pricing Announcement discussion including coordinating with all relevant stakeholders, data preparation, finalization, and approval. Any changes during the month to also be updated and approved.
  7. Should be aware of ongoing market trends by coordinating with the marketing intelligence and the sales teams/agents to make any optimizations of the plan, if required.
  8. To create, in coordination with the relevant teams, any monitoring tools/dashboards that will help to optimize the plan, monitor sales, improve results, and track key KPIs related to sales volumes.
  9. In charge of monitoring the material balance and inventory situation, so as to ensure smooth sales as per the plan.
  10. Responsible also to coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure smooth forecasting, planning, and monthly shipment execution.
  11. The focal point during the annual budget to finalize volume and grade allocations from the JV.
  12. Any other activity that relates to the volume that will impact sales.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Economics with Marketing preferred.
  • Any certifications related to planning will be an advantage.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, with specific experience in sales forecast, sales planning and coordination, volume allocation, and monitoring.
Job Specific Skills:
  • Planning skills including forecast, NB based allocations, sales optimizations, and sales.
  • Product knowledge, including grade slates, typical applications, and regional customer preferences.
  • Negotiation and coordination skills within the department and outside.
  • Strong analytical skills related to optimization.
  • Able to create, maintain, and monitor performance with tools/dashboards.
  • Quick thinking and decision making.
  • Maintaining good relationships with multiple stakeholders to achieve the desired targets.
