Job Title: Sous Chef Job Summary: The Sous Chef assists in menu preparation, oversees kitchen operations, and ensures quality standards. In the absence of the Head Chef , they take full charge of the kitchen, maintaining efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations.
- Maintain team discipline and ensure staff are aware of daily tasks.
- Communicate with management on special requests and VIP functions.
- Ensure dishes meet recipe, quality, and presentation standards.
- Train staff in portion control and kitchen efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Minimize waste and operational costs.
- Skills: Teamwork, leadership, communication, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years in a similar role.
