Job details

Salary: AED 17,000 – 18,000 plus benefits A leading Luxury Retail Group is looking to hire a Chief Accountant to join their head office team in Abu Dhabi.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts as per IFRS & IAS standards.
Assist Finance Manager in developing and implementing accounting procedures in line with GAAP.
Preparation of monthly financial statement and the profit / cost centre report.
Assist with annual budgets and in rolling budgets.
Work with internal & external auditors.
Preparation of daily cash flows and the projections.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years experienced Accountant / MIS and MUST be from the retail / luxury retail industry.
Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA).
Sound / practical knowledge of IFRS / IAS.
Experience in MIS & Handling of books of accounts.
Must be strong at Analysis.
Working knowledge in any of the ERP systems.
Self-motivated, customer focused and team player.
