- Be client facing, managing the entire project from award to completion.
- Oversee the company’s Designer’s calculations on ductwork, HVAC, piping, gas, plumbing and drainage, and incorporate those calculations into technical drawings.
- Oversee calculations to size equipment and prepare project-specific equipment schedules.
- Coordinate with necessary project consultants to review equipment, ensuring that a complete and correct design is achieved.
- Collaborate with the Building Services group to deliver multi-disciplinary projects through preliminary and detailed designs.
- As the lead Project Manager for your projects, be client facing and ensure all targets are being met to ensure client satisfaction.
- 8+ years’ experience in the field of Canadian Mechanical Buildings Engineering.
- Have the ability to check services and layouts for continuity, developing HVAC system layouts in coordination with the electrical, structural, and architectural building components.
- Be able to clarify project scope and create building sections to assist with interference coordination between building systems.
- Be familiar with electrical, structural, and architectural models to appreciate space limitations and interferences.
- Be able to read drawings directly in Revit, adhering to the companies BIM/CAD standards.
