The ideal candidate will direct the business development activities of the organization and drive marketing initiatives. They play a key role in the company and in the generation of new business. This individual will be an active member of the management team and will play a critical role in strategic planning for the business. Front-Line Sales and Business Development :
- Act as the key driver of front-line sales activities.
- Develop and execute a robust business development strategy aimed at expanding the Company’s presence in existing and new markets.
- Build and manage key client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and excellent customer service to increase project award rate.
- Actively seek out new business opportunities by identifying prospects, contacting leads, and following up on sales pipeline activities.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies that align with company growth objectives.
- Lead presentations to various stakeholders to grow market awareness.
- Attend various events to promote the company's value proposition.
- Collaborate with the executive team to assist in the development of a unified, global business strategy that will drive long-term growth and competitiveness.
- Provide input on corporate vision, mission, and values while working to align sales strategies with the overall business direction.
- Develop strategic initiatives that target new markets, customer segments, and revenue streams to achieve corporate growth objectives.
- Assist in preparation of high-quality proposals for major projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling and competitive proposals that reflect the Company’s technical capabilities and value proposition.
- Present proposals to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring all elements are aligned with the Company’s business objectives.
- Negotiate prospective deals and contracts for major projects.
- Provide regular updates and sales reports to the executive team, including performance against sales targets, project pipeline, and business development activities.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress towards business development goals and adjust strategies as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads.
- Strong communication, client relations and negotiation skills.
- Experience in Oil & Gas construction or engineering sales considered as asset.
