JOB SUMMARY To help facilitate their 5-year strategic goal attainment, they are seeking to add a dynamic and experienced Director to lead their National Sales Team across Canada. The successful candidate can operate from anywhere in Canada as long as they have reasonable access to a major international airport. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the North American leadership team that is shaping and executing a multi-year growth strategy that will double the business within 3-5 years. In this role, you will be responsible for building and developing a world-class sales team capable of exceeding performance goals established by the company. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed their targets – develop a world-class team of sales professionals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competition.
- Key contributor to growth strategy, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure the success of sales efforts.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, performance-based business culture.
- Travel as required to fulfill job requirements – domestic and international.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, MBA is an asset.
- More than 8 years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding financial targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- English language required; French language considered a strong asset.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies and plans.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide recommendations.
- Proficient with the use of software and technology to improve business results – ERP, CRM, Microsoft Office, etc.
