Do you have experience recruiting in manufacturing and various corporate positions such as IT and Accounting? Stella-Jones, a North American leader in the manufacturing and distribution of pressure-treated wood products, is seeking an experienced Corporate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team on a part-time or flexible schedule . This role is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in recruiting to help our team attract top talent for a wide variety of corporate and manufacturing roles in Canada and the United States. This is a newly added part-time role and will be hybrid based (in our office with some remote work) at our HQ in Montreal (Saint-Laurent). Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Oversee the end-to-end hiring process various positions, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers.
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Conduct intake meetings and maintain ongoing communication to understand role requirements and provide updates on candidate progress.
- Source Candidates: Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, and other tools to identify and engage potential candidates for open roles.
- Screen and Assess Applicants: Review resumes, conduct initial interviews, and evaluate candidates against job qualifications and cultural fit.
- Coordinate Interview Processes: Schedule interviews, communicate with candidates, and facilitate debriefs with hiring teams.
- Maintain ATS Records: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all candidate activity in our Dayforce applicant tracking system
- Support Recruitment Marketing and Branding: Promote open roles through social media and other channels to enhance the employer brand and attract talent.
- Five (5) or more years of talent acquisition experience, including significant experience in a corporate recruiting environment (Note: Agency experience is a plus, but not required)
- Recruiting experience with Manufacturing, IT and Finance roles
- Written and verbal fluency in French and English
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems as well as sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter
