Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Senior AI Engineer - Python, LLM, RAG, Langchain, AWS Company Background: TekRek has partnered with a seed stage HRTech firm. This company has 30+ employees and is on a growth trajectory due to strong demand for their product. Their product allows for faster, more efficient, and bias free interviewing. This is a remote role, but ideally you are based in Ontario as the team is located there and meets up quarterly. Job Description: In this role, you will be a Senior AI Engineer on a fast-paced team, responsible for building AI solutions that shape hiring decisions. Your work will involve leveraging the latest in AI/ML, including LLMs and advanced infrastructure, to create scalable, impactful tools. You will:

• Design, build, and improve AI systems for open-ended conversations.
• Develop robust AI infrastructure, including data pipelines, vector search capabilities, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build unified AI services for tasks like parsing transcripts, assisting with hiring content creation, and delivering coaching insights.

• 6+ years of software development experience, with a focus on AI/ML.
• Experience with RAG and LLM-based applications.
• Proven experience building and scaling SQL data pipelines with thoughtful design and architecture trade-offs.
• Experience with vector databases.
• Bonus points if you have experience with AWS, Python (Flask) and have worked with traditional machine learning frameworks.
