FAME is a trusted leader in services and software for the higher education industry. For over 40 years, FAME has provided a complete solution in both the Financial Aid and Student Information Systems.

The Position:

We’re looking for an experienced FoxPro Developer to join our team and help maintain, enhance, and migrate legacy FoxPro-based applications. If you have a solid understanding of FoxPro and love solving challenges in a legacy system while contributing to modernization efforts, this role is for you.

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance applications built using FoxPro.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing FoxPro-based systems.
3. Collaborate with the team to plan and execute migration of FoxPro systems to modern platforms.
4. Write and maintain efficient, clean, and scalable code.
5. Optimize database performance and write SQL queries as needed.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver updates.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute.
2. Proven experience as a FoxPro Developer (Visual FoxPro experience is a plus).
3. Experience with XBase++ is a plus.
4. Experience working with C# and .NET development.
5. Strong knowledge of FoxPro programming and database handling.
6. Familiarity with SQL and relational database management.
7. Experience with application migration from FoxPro to other technologies is a bonus.
8. Problem-solving mindset and excellent attention to detail.
9. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
