Job Title: IT/OT Integration Specialist Location: Charlottetown, PEI (On-Site) Our client, a leading organization dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency through advanced IT and OT system integration, is seeking a committed specialist to join their team in Charlottetown, PEI. This role involves contributing to critical integration projects and ensuring seamless system performance. Note: This position requires on-site presence for the majority of the time in Charlottetown, PEI. Candidates must be prepared to work on location. Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for IT/OT integration projects, with a focus on technical activities.
- Administer and maintain PI systems, including production system upkeep, migration tasks, and tag configuration for OT systems.
- Manage networked system activities, including production support and system migrations.
- Facilitate supplier communication during migration processes to ensure smooth transitions.
- Assist with the setup, testing, and integration of Remote Office/Branch Office (ROBO) and Secure Field Network (SFN) environments.
- Support security systems as needed to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records, ensuring accurate system architecture inputs in ServiceNow (SNOW).
- Contribute to IT/OT system architecture reviews and planning activities to align with organizational goals.
- Participate in gap assessments for designated systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop technology risk profiles to assess potential vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in creating Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) to ensure system reliability and compliance.
- Engage in change management activities to support smooth system transitions and upgrades.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine technical documentation and content.
- Proven experience in IT/OT system integration within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of PI systems, including administration, maintenance, and migration.
- Familiarity with networked systems and integration processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Experience with Remote Office/Branch Office (ROBO) and Secure Field Network (SFN) setups is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of security systems and their integration into IT/OT environments.
- Proficiency in preparing and maintaining CMDB records, with experience using the ServiceNow (SNOW) platform.
- Ability to conduct system architecture reviews and contribute to strategic planning activities.
- Experience in performing gap assessments and developing technology risk profiles.
- Skilled in creating Quality Assurance Plans and participating in change management processes.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders to develop technical documentation.
