See details and demos on our website and Linkedin! We are looking for a Solution Architect who will be involved in system pre-sales and implementation processes. Responsibilities
- Be an expert in Assaia’s systems infrastructure requirements, capabilities and in discovering and addressing its limitations.
- Participate in meetings with our customers to resolve questions related to the IT architecture: firewalls, bandwidth, traffic flows, performance, stability etc.
- Gather and structure project technical requirements.
- Support the sales teams in early phases of the sales cycle to verify technical assumptions based on a given architecture / location / physical setup.
- Discuss integrations with customer’s existing systems and be a communication channel between Assaia developers and customer’s technical team.
- Provide expert advice on optimal camera placement to maximize coverage and efficiency.
- Design and architect solutions for streaming CCTV footage to the cloud, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
- Optimize camera streams for real-time streaming over RTSP through secure VPN tunnels.
- Implement strategies to enhance video quality while minimizing bandwidth usage, including compression and encoding techniques.
- Troubleshoot and fine-tune streams for optimal performance under varying network conditions.
- Travel onsite when necessary to facilitate installations.
- Fluent (C2) English is a must. Additional languages are a plus.
- Technical background, ideally system administration or engineering.
- Deep understanding of networking and CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with information security concepts and best practices.
- Experience working with IT departments of enterprise clients is required.
- Common sense, ability to reach optimal speed/quality balance.
- Experience with video quality optimization techniques and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex streaming and networking issues.
- Hands on experience with camera hardware and VMS solutions such as Genetec or Milestone.
- Great skills of explaining/visualising/selling your ideas.
- At least some experience with Linux/system administration/command line.
- Ability to read and understand code, basic programming skills a plus.
- Must have an unrestricted ability to work in the US or in Canada.
- CAD 100,000 – 110,000 gross / year base compensation depending on the experience.
