We arrange translators for crime victims so that they can get justice. Our job is to arrange interpreters through our platform for our customers. Our end customers are hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities who communicate with refugees and other people in need. Our company purpose is to use technology to make the world a better place. The ideal candidate for Remote DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will have extensive experience in building scalable infrastructure , managing CI/CD pipelines , and ensuring system reliability while working with AWS . Candidate will play a key role in automating processes, improving system performance, and ensuring the reliability of mission-critical services. Job Description:

1. Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS environments using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
2. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, code reviews, and deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
3. Develop systems in Python (or Go ) to streamline operational tasks and improve system performance.
4. Work on containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate them with ECS / Fargate .
5. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation and deployment best practices.
6. Ensure high reliability and availability of cloud-based services by implementing robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems with tools like DataDog , Grafana , CloudWatch , and ELK.
7. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime and enhance system scalability.
8. Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical infrastructure.
9. Improve incident response processes to minimize resolution times and ensure operational excellence.
10. Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows, focusing on IAM , encryption , and secure pipelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering , or a related field is required.
2. 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles with hands-on experience in cloud environments like AWS .
3. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines , IaC, and containerization technologies.

Technical Skills:

1. Programming : Proficiency in Python (Go experience is a plus).
2. Cloud Platforms : Expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and cloud architecture.
3. IaC Tools: Extensive experience with Terraform for automated infrastructure management.
4. Monitoring : Knowledge of tools like DataDog, Grafana, and ELK stack.
5. Containerization : Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
6. Version Control : Proficiency in Git for collaboration and versioning.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
