Location On-site 2nd Floor, Farooq Plaza, Kuri Road, Chak Shahzad, Islamabad Description We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Android development with experience building secure, high-performance mobile applications for enterprise-grade solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy mobile applications that enhance user experience and align with SyntecX’s mission. Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications that support SyntecX’s product portfolio, including asasa (Smart Inventory Management System) and PRISM (Enterprise Campaign Management System).
2. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the applications.
3. Ensure applications meet high standards of quality, performance, and security, especially for sensitive enterprise-level data.
4. Integrate APIs and third-party libraries to support dynamic and feature-rich mobile experiences.
5. Conduct code reviews and continuously optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
6. Stay updated on Android development trends, SDK updates, and best practices to implement new features and improvements effectively.

1. Knowledge of security protocols for data-sensitive applications.
2. Experience with enterprise applications or large-scale B2B solutions.
3. Familiarity with testing tools (JUnit, Espresso) and debugging methods.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience in Android application development.
3. Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
4. Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
5. Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile applications with back-end services.
6. Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
7. Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP).
8. Experience with version control (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
10. Familiarity with NFC technology, if possible, given the integration in our asset management systems.
