Job Title : Sr. Executive - New Bio Based Surfactants Entity : Evonik India Work Location : Thane Job Summary :
- The lab technician executes development activities within the laboratory, driving innovation and overseeing the synthesis.
- This role is contributing to the research activities as an active part of the chemistry team by executing laboratory activities aligned with the organizational goals.
- Laboratory support of synthesis, new product development, analytical and characterization of chemical compounds for various applications.
- Analysis of chemical samples using various techniques including but not limited to chromatography, spectroscopy, rheology and titrations.
- Documentation of laboratory results, collection of lab data, basic calculations and interpretation of results
- Ensures compliance with all required internal, local and federal safety processes and procedures.
- Educational Background: Associate degree or above in Chemistry or related field with a strong emphasis on synthetic chemistry
- Experience: At least 2 years of related lab experience in a chemical research environment
- Skills: experience in synthetic organic chemistry, proficiency in analytical testing (GC, HPLC, etc.)
- Communication: Effective team collaboration and data reporting.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Other: Commitment to safety, clean work environments, and flexibility to perform other duties as needed.
