- Develop and prepare the scheme of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials for the assigned art subjects, ensuring alignment with the IGCSE curriculum.
- Modify teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students within the class.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills.
- Implement differentiated teaching practices to ensure that all students achieve their learning potential.
- Regularly assess students' progress through various formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and prepare detailed reports for the Head of Department (HoD), Campus Principal, and parents.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies, educational technologies, and developments in the field of art education.
- Attend professional development sessions and workshops to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Actively participate in school-wide activities, such as art exhibitions, student workshops, and cultural events.
- Support the organization and execution of extra-curricular art-related activities.
- Serve as a role model for students by promoting humanistic education, positive behavior, and personal integrity.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students both inside and outside the classroom to foster personal growth and artistic development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or any related field
- Teaching certification (IGCSE experience preferred).
- Proven experience teaching art in an international school setting, particularly at the IGCSE level.
- Strong knowledge of the IGCSE Art curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
