QHSE Executive (Sarawak-Based)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement and manage QHSE policies and procedures
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
3. Prepare and maintain QHSE documentation, reports and records
4. Provide training and awareness programs to employees regarding QHSE policies
5. Investigate incidents and accidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
6. Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization
7. Monitor and analyze QHSE performance metrics, preparing recommendations for improvement
8. Stay updated with changes in regulations and standards related to QHSE
9. Facilitate communication with stakeholders regarding QHSE matters
10. Lead QHSE committees and actively participate in safety meetings

Job Requirements:

1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in OHS Engineering or a related field
2. 5 years of experience in QHSE management system
3. Relevant certificates – NIOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 45001 – are a plus
4. Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations and best practices
5. Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills
6. Strong leadership capabilities and ability to work as part of a team
