Position: Senior API Developer Experience Required: 6-8 years Location: Islamabad Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: As a Senior API Developer, you will lead API development projects, focusing on designing scalable and secure solutions for connected applications. You will oversee integrations across multiple systems and ensure the performance of APIs in production. Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement advanced API solutions for complex systems.
- Lead the API development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Conduct extensive testing using tools like JMeter, Fiddler, and Postman.
- Monitor API performance and optimize for scalability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align API solutions with business goals.
- Mentor junior developers in API best practices and standards.
- Extensive experience in RESTful API development and integration.
- Expertise in using API testing and debugging tools like Soap UI and Fiddler.
- Strong knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateways.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 6–8 years of experience in API development, including leadership roles.
