Ropstam is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving innovation, delivering complex projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of cutting-edge software and digital solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with company goals, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Develop, prioritize, communicate, and manage roadmaps, project plans, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide detailed updates on development progress, quality standards, operations, and system performance to management.
• Promote a collaborative culture of continuous improvement through guidance, feedback, and the use of metrics.
• Foster innovation to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve objectives efficiently.
• Recruit, mentor, and coach team members to build a high-performing, cross-functional development team that delivers complex solutions.
• Manage and nurture a team of web developers, including back-end, front-end, and integrators.
• Oversee projects of varying sizes and scopes to meet organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Handle support management by ensuring the timely resolution of bugs and requests.
• Define and enforce best practices for development, code reviews, QA processes, go-live protocols, release notes, and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals.
• Monitor daily tasks to resolve roadblocks and inspire the team to work at peak efficiency through clear vision and leadership.
• Utilize tools like JIRA, Asana, Trello, or Podio to manage tasks, enforce workflows, and maintain smooth operations in the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience, including managing eCommerce projects.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Full-Stack development with expertise in back-end platforms (e.g. PHP, Node).
• Proven experience in developing and integrating service APIs for scalable applications.
• Strong understanding of relational (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git or GitLab.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of Agile methodology and established release protocols.
• Proven track record of shipping software and working in team-based software development environments.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Ability to implement and adapt to emerging technologies to enhance customer-facing software solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical and business vision, coupled with analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in design, development, testing, and support, with a focus on understanding and addressing business impacts of technical challenges.
