Assigned Certifier

Your New Company As an Assigned Certifier you will be joining an engineering consultancy that is well established in the Cork region and in a state of growth. Their typical project portfolio would be Residential, commercial including retail and office blocks as well as education projects. The team is a medium sized business made up of civil and structural engineers paired with an experienced architectural department. Your New Role As an Assigned Certifier you will be coordinating plans and schedules to be lodged on the schedule at the beginning of projects. Reviewing scope of requirements concerning building regulations and consistently reviewing the drawings and specifications prepared by the design team. You should be able to identify any areas of non-compliance and come up with solutions to the design team for rectification. You should be able to identify ancillary design certs from specialists that may be required at the start of a project. The Requirements Our client is looking for either a chartered engineer or registered architect with 6-8 years experience on Irish Projects. You should have a strong understanding on all necessary compliance, design certs and appropriate processes. You will be technically very strong, and experience on similar project types would be a bonus. If you are already working in an Assigned Certifier role that would be an advantage, however if you are looking to move into this role our client is open to speaking with you.
