Job Description: Accounts Department Intern (Data Entry) Location: Hyderabad, Telangana Company: Country Chicken Co. About the Role: Country Chicken Co. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Department Intern to assist with data entry and other accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in the field of finance and accounting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Data Entry: • Accurately enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets. • Maintain and update records of daily transactions, invoices, and receipts. 2. Documentation: • Organize and digitize physical and digital accounting documents. • Ensure all records are filed correctly for easy retrieval. 3. Reconciliation: • Assist in reconciling accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. • Cross-verify information in ledgers, invoices, and bank statements. 4. Support Accounts Team: • Provide administrative support to the accounts team in daily tasks. • Help in preparing basic financial reports and summaries. 5. Compliance: • Ensure data entry complies with company policies and accounting standards. • Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities. Qualifications: • Pursuing or completed a degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel. • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks). Skills: • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Good organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. • Basic communication skills (written and verbal).
