Organizational Structure and Workflow Optimization
- Evaluate and restructure the organizational hierarchy, focusing on interdepartmental dynamics and internal processes.
- Review and revise job descriptions for office staff to ensure consistency between documented procedures and actual practices.
- Design, develop, and enforce comprehensive office policies, such as: Remote Work Policy, Loan Guidelines, Leave Policies, Travel Allowance, Phone Usage and Benefits Policies
- Establish performance metrics for evaluating staff.
- Develop and implement a performance-based reward system to identify and recognize top performers.
- Address employee concerns swiftly and professionally.
- Mediate conflicts to foster a positive work environment.
- Identify training needs across various departments.
- Organize and implement employee development initiatives to improve skills and performance.
- Compile and present HR-related reports to senior management, covering: Employee turnover rates, Employee satisfaction levels, Compliance issues
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the maritime or shipping industry
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations
