Job Description

Job Summary: As a Sr. Smart Systems Engineer at Company’s Lighting, you are responsible for overseeing the smart system technologies within the company's product offerings. You will play an important role in designing, implementing, and managing smart system solutions within our product line. Your role requires a deep understanding of smart system technologies, project management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Job Requirements

Duties & Responsibilities: Your position encompasses the following responsibilities, but is not limited to, as additional tasks and assignments may be assigned as needed.
  1. Develop yearly plan
    • Create a comprehensive business plan for achieving the yearly sales targets.
    • Share ideas for achieving the sales targets with management at the start of the year to finalize and start working on the plan.
  2. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage smart system projects from concept to implementation, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to drive project success.
  3. Business Expansion:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities and target markets for expansion.
    • Develop processes and systems that can handle increased demand without compromising quality.
    • Monitor competitors in new markets and adapt strategies to stay ahead.
  4. System Design and Development:
    • Oversee the design of smart systems, including hardware and software components.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest smart system technologies and trends.
  5. Technical Expertise:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of IoT, wireless communication protocols, and sensor technologies used in smart systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and maintain quality control processes for smart systems to ensure they meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  7. Vendor and Partner Management:
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners to source components and technologies.
    • Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of components.
  8. Data Analytics:
    • Implement data collection and analysis methods to optimize smart systems for energy efficiency, performance, and user experience.
  9. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all smart systems comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  10. Team Leadership:
    • Build and lead a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to smart system development.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  11. User Training and Support:
    • Develop training materials and provide support to customers and end-users of Company’s Lighting's smart system products.
  12. Technical Support for Sales Team:
    • Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, helping representatives understand the technical aspects of smart lighting systems.
  13. Custom Solutions:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop custom smart system solutions for specific clients or projects.
  14. Product Demonstrations:
    • Assist in demonstrating smart lighting products and systems to potential customers.
  15. Technical Sales Presentations:
    • Deliver technical presentations during the sales process, explaining the technical details of Company’s Lighting's smart lighting products.
  16. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of system designs, project progress, and technical specifications.
    • Prepare reports and presentations to update stakeholders on project status.
