Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis 1 to join our culinary team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. • Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior kitchen staff.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
• Support menu planning activities by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
• Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with food setup and service.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards throughout all kitchen processes.

Skills

• Strong foundational knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques.
• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
