Finance / HR Manager At Sports Schooling As a finance and HR manager, you will be driving the full spectrum of finance, including general ledger, accounts payable/ receivable, and cash flow management. You will also be managing the budgeting, tax planning, payroll and audit preparation, while providing management reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties include:

  • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analysing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company
  • Oversee the operations, create and review policies
  • Be responsible for budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures
  • Prepare quarterly and annual account (and gst) reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Advise executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances
  • Process payroll, verify staff claims, and manage student refunds efficiently and accurately
  • Document and report company’s financial status and forecasts
  • Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences
  • Assist department heads and General Manager in managing resources and facilities to support efficient and effective operations
  • Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts
  • Provide support in managing HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
Working hours:
  • Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 6pm
  • Hybrid work arrangement: Work on-site thrice a week. For other days of the week - work from home / remotely, with occasional in-person meetings or training sessions where necessary

  • Buona Vista
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance or ACCA or Equivalent Qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • A strong sense of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Candidates with prior experience working in Education Industry preferred.
