JASARA PMC is looking for a dedicated Planning Manager specializing in Mobility, Transportation, and Rail to join our innovative team. As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030, you will play a crucial role in planning and managing our transportation and rail infrastructure initiatives. The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the sub-districts and projects programs. This role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, planning and schedule management processes, performance monitoring and analysis, and reporting to effectively manage the scope, risks, and interdependencies of the projects. Key Responsibilities:

  3. Manages, coaches, and mentors junior staff to successfully contribute to the department deliverables.

  6. Continually improves the quality of schedule presentation, information, and documentation.
  7. Ensures the preservation of all backup documentation throughout the process, working closely with information management teams.
  8. Provides guidance & support to the team in all aspects of Planning, Cost, Resourcing & Risk.
  9. Produces the Project schedule and maintains it as per Consultant/Contractor schedule.
  10. Ensures the schedule adheres to the Schedule Management Plan, Planning processes, and WOW.
  11. Resource planning - to indicate the levels of resources.
  12. Develops and implements appropriate improvements, ensures optimal project schedule quality, and evaluates reports.
  13. Analysis of schedule to identify performance trends, raise for management attention, with mitigation solutions.
  14. Review of prepared schedule data for proposals or contract negotiations.
  15. Integrates inter-discipline schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialties.
  16. Identifies potential and occurring problems affecting the work schedule at the site and recommends solutions to the relevant team/department.
  17. Identifies risks and develops mitigation plans.
  18. Clarifies the needs of the team to ensure the delivery of effective services.
  19. Reviews and edits Project progress tracking and reporting.
  20. Produces Baseline/Target schedules for submission.
  21. Plans and schedules own work to meet required timelines and outputs.
  22. Ensures weekly/monthly updating of schedules as design and construction work develops.
  23. Manages sharing of knowledge and information within own team and with internal stakeholders.
  24. Responds accurately and in a timely manner to team queries regarding the content of the schedule submission.
  25. Undertakes strategic planning exercises with the wider team.
  26. Provides inputs in setting up processes and procedures for implementation.
  27. Identifies key interfaces and manages them efficiently to ensure seamless coordination.
  28. Manages coordination with the commercial function to implement an effective controls system covering budget, cost, reporting, risk, and change management.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in/or postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Management or relevant field of study.
  2. 5 - 10 years' related planning/scheduling within construction delivery experience - ideally Contractor and Consultancy.
  3. Good understanding of Programme & Project Controls.
  4. In-depth project planning, scheduling, and reporting competence.
  5. In-depth understanding of Schedule Management & its relationships with other controls disciplines.
  6. Good Understanding of Infrastructure Construction Industry.
  7. Experienced user and knowledge of Primavera P6.
  8. Experience delivering Planning & Scheduling functions and capabilities on major programmes.
  9. Experience managing baselines through complex contract hierarchies.
  10. An excellent communicator and collaborator.
  11. Good understanding of Progress measurement and Earned Value Management Analysis, its use and implementation.
  12. Previous KSA/Middle East experience preferred. Leverage in-depth knowledge of enterprise-level management software, such as P6, MS Office 365 - preferred skills include Power BI.
  13. Theme Park and/or Hotels Experience.
  14. To be proficient and accurate in all aspects of work.
  15. To be able to communicate at all levels internally and externally in a professional manner.
