Job Overview: We are seeking Sales Executive to join our team in the automotive or manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales in the field, establishing new business relationships, and maintaining existing customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B field sales, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry, with the ability to effectively present and sell products to new and existing clients on-site. Key Responsibilities:
- Field Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to generate new business and expand market presence in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects. Provide on-site support and act as the primary contact for customer needs, issues, and inquiries.
- Sales Visits & Presentations: Plan and conduct regular field visits, customer presentations, product demonstrations, and sales meetings to promote products and solutions.
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and generate leads in the field through networking, cold calling, trade shows, and referrals. Convert leads into sales by understanding customer needs and proposing tailored solutions.
- Negotiation & Deal Closing: Engage in direct negotiations with customers and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market data, competitor activities, and customer feedback to stay ahead of industry trends and capitalize on new opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, lead status, and opportunities in CRM software. Provide regular reports to management on progress, sales forecasts, and achievements.
- Customer Support & Problem Resolution: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner during the post-sale phase.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, engineering, and production to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer delivery.
- Field Sales Administration: Manage travel schedules, expense reports, and other administrative tasks related to field sales activities.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of field sales experience, preferably in the automotive, automotive components, or manufacturing industry.
- Sales Skills: Proven success in direct, face-to-face sales with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Field Sales Expertise: Comfortable with frequent travel, client meetings, and presentations in various locations.
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, products, or industrial solutions, with the ability to communicate complex information to customers.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify customer pain points in the field and offer tailored solutions.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, sales activities, and customer interactions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive or manufacturing industry and market trends.
- Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex product offerings.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and target-driven field sales environment.
- Experience attending trade shows, conferences, or other industry-related events.
