The SAP Finance Model Consultant will support and maintain the SAP Finance system, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with organizational standards. The role also upholds the company's Quality Management System in alignment with recognized working practices and policies. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT team members to deliver SAP Finance requirements, including developing work program timelines, risk assessments, design documents, and other planning documentation.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to team members, particularly in addressing complex, judgmental, and specialized SAP Finance system issues.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex SAP Finance systems, leveraging knowledge of the current IT environment and industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to engagement teams and client management through written correspondence and presentations.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills, promoting teamwork and accountability among team members while leveraging current technologies to enhance deliverables and services.
  • Provide broad functional knowledge of key SAP Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
  • Collaborate with client technology professionals and third-party strategic alliances to ensure seamless integration and support.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships and networks internally and externally.
  • Engage with technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, data conversion, and testing.
  • Communicate effectively with finance and technology middle management executives to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Understand SAP security and business process concepts, working directly with clients to identify and escalate technical issues as necessary.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits related to SAP Finance, supporting various internal projects and initiatives.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and well-structured facts, analyses, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple technically complex projects or engagements simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Foster relationships across divisions to support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and budgets.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance models.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Broad functional knowledge of key SAP Finance modules and ERP business processes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP security and business process concepts.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and audits related to SAP Finance systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of stakeholders and internal teams.
