Please note that this post is for a 6-month temporary contract Job Description To ensure overall delivery of EC&FZ Cluster budgeting, planning, performance & analysis activities. Support CFO to deliver the performance of the EC&FZ Cluster in line with the cluster’s annual targets as agreed with the Cluster BoD. To oversee the development and execution of EF&FZ’s business & implementation plans. The role holder is also responsible to review the business planning and process performance and propose Business KPI’s, overall financial performance and its reporting to Senior Management. Responsibilities

  1. Direct the development of the long-range financial forecasts and related budgets.
  2. Overall lead for EC&FZ cluster, coordinating, advising, and challenging the overall EC&FZ budgeting and forecasting exercise, to ensure budgets are set in line with overall EC&FZ strategy and annual financial targets.
  3. Oversee the development and challenge the long-range financial forecasts for EC&FZ.
  4. Review and present reports and presentations to senior management including Excomm and Board updates about progress against key performance indicators as well as monthly performance update.
  5. Advise senior management on financial matters, ensuring reporting consistency with IFRS and AD Ports policies and procedures and escalating any deviations from these policies.
  6. Oversee the business case development and Capex program for EC&FZ.
  7. Work closely with all stakeholders to set up & deliver annual objectives and targets for EC&FZ cluster.
  8. Provide feedback for improvement of the whole planning & budgeting process.
  9. Perform other relevant functions under Finance Affairs as assigned by Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics required
  2. Relevant Professional Finance qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or MBA is preferred
  3. Written and Spoken English is essential
  4. 8-12 years of experience in finance planning & budgeting process, business performance & analysis
  5. Experience of capex budgeting, reporting and forecasting
  6. Advanced excel skills
  7. Previous experience of advance financial modelling
