Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Support Engineer to join our team in Dammam 2nd Industrial city, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent organizational skills. As a Project Support Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with project planning, scheduling, and execution, as well as coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success. Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Programme Manager in all technical, commercial and contractual matters.
  2. Coordinate and support pre-outage planning for service projects.
  3. Provide support for pre-outage activities (development of work scope, outage schedules, staffing histograms, site organization chart, and safety documents).
  4. Forecast and schedule resources for field service outages.
  5. Provide first response mechanical support for customers during unplanned maintenance events, including deployment to site to recommend, direct, and implement troubleshooting, fact-finding, or repair activities.
  6. Provide support for post outage activities (site restoration and parts shipment) upon completion of services.
  7. Support the MHPS-SA commercial department for proposal development.
  8. Assist in customer/internal negotiation and implementation meetings as required.
  9. Support the development of quality vendors to enhance the service mission of MHPS-SA by seeking quality service organizations that can contribute to the requirements.
  10. Interface internally with service organizations to plan outage implementation requirements.
  11. Develop cost estimates for Gas Turbine, Generator, and Steam Turbine service proposals, including RFQs, quotations, arranging POs with the Commercial Department, and checking invoices.
  12. Coordinate and supervise internal resources and subcontractors.
  13. Produce documentation, including Method Statements, Risk Assessments, Technical information, quotations, and reports.
  14. Provide first-line response to technical queries, including initial diagnosis and rectification.
  15. Correspond at all levels with internal and external departments to manage customer-related issues.

Skills

Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. 1-4 years of experience in project management or a related role.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Proficient in project management software and tools.
  8. Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  9. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  10. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality work.
