Job Summary: The Sales Admin/Business Development Support Specialist will work closely with the Senior Business Development Executive to provide essential support for sales operations, client management, and administrative tasks. Additionally, this role will collaborate with the marketing team to assist in creating and executing campaigns, events, and materials that align with business development goals. The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency, particularly in the eDiscovery and legal technology sectors. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development Support:
- Assist in preparing and tailoring client proposals, presentations, and sales pitches.
- Research market trends, client needs, and potential leads to support outreach strategies.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate client and prospect data.
- Track sales opportunities, manage the pipeline, and coordinate follow-ups with clients and internal teams.
- Submit engagement letters and change orders, ensuring timely client onboarding and project approval.
- Review and approve client invoices for accuracy and compliance before sending them out.
- Coordinate the booking of internal projects and ensure all details are logged accurately.
- Manage documentation, including filing engagement letters, project plans, and client agreements.
- Assist with creating and monitoring budgets for business development initiatives.
- Act as a point of contact for client queries and requests, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
- Provide support for client onboarding, including managing necessary documentation and aligning expectations.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reviewing invoices, documents, and marketing content.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication to engage with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Marketing Acumen: Understanding basic marketing principles and experience assisting with campaigns or events is advantageous.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite, and marketing tools.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with sales and marketing teams.
- Proactive Mindset: A self-starter with a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development, or a similar role.
- Experience in marketing support or collaboration is a plus.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery, legal technology, or the legal industry is highly desirable.
