IT Operations Manager - Royal Diriyah Golf Club

  • Design, implement, support, and maintain IT infrastructure systems (Network servers and devices, E-mail, Internet, IP telephony, video/audio conferencing, data storage, etc.).
  • Oversee installation and configuration of IT infrastructure systems.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors to obtain proposals for IT infrastructure requirements.
  • Ensure the implementation of IT standards and security policies for both software and hardware.
  • Carry out approved IT plans and programs to achieve set objectives.
  • Actively participate in system design; implement backup and disaster recovery plans to maintain high system availability and prevent interruptions.
  • Supervise the process of granting user access to systems and IT resources.
  • Evaluate and recommend service level agreements (SLAs) with outsourced service providers (systems support, data communications, LAN/WAN solutions, internet services, etc.).
  • Follow up on IT services delivered by vendors/subcontractors and ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Identify and recommend hardware/software purchasing requirements.
  • Monitor data growth and upgrade data storage solutions according to business needs.
  • Ensure the readiness and efficiency of network systems.
  • Monitor network security and report any security concerns.
  • Prepare periodic reports on support activities and achievements.
  • Assign tasks, monitor service quality, and ensure compliance with approved IT policies/procedures.
  • Supervise technical support staff by planning schedules, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and providing motivation/support.
  • Provide assistance, advice, and problem-solving expertise to the technical support team.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing among technical support staff.
  • Liaise with IT vendors to guarantee the delivery of required products/services.
  • Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports in line with performance management processes.
  • Handle any other tasks within the department as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field (Required).
  • 7–10 years of experience in IT operations, with added expertise in HR and Finance systems.
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager in the information technology sector.
  • Relevant IT certifications (PMP, ITIL, CCNA, MCSE) are a strong advantage.
  • Industry background in F&B, hospitality, or facility management is highly desirable.
