Location: AJMAN, UAE Experience Required: Diploma in Mechanical or Production & Industrial Min-2-5 Yrs Preferred: Experience in scaffolding industry, expertise in welding engineering, involvement in Kaizen environment, and exposure to SAP.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Coordination

Coordinate the planning and execution of downtime and preventive maintenance plans with the organization's maintenance teams.
Report any equipment breakdowns to the maintenance department and reporting management.

Specialized Machinery and Upgradation of Machinery

Execute the implementation of machine upgrades or specialized machinery and adhere to the implementation plan for own section.

Optimization Projects

Provide periodic feedback to senior management on possible areas of optimization, including modification of manufacturing process, productivity improvements, lead time decrease, etc.
Execute the approved optimization projects as per the implementation plan and provide regular updates to senior management.

New Product Development

Support reporting management for deputation of manpower for approved projects or initiatives, and the requirement for prototypes or trial runs.

Goods Transfer

Direct the team to execute the transfer of finished or partially processed material to the team involved in the next step of the production process.

Budgets and Plans

Adhere to departmental budgets and ensure optimal utilization of all available resources.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
Contribute to cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.

Adhere to all relevant QHSSE procedures, instructions, and controls so that the organization provides a safe, world-class, secure, and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public, and its own people.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across one's scope of work in order to achieve the organization's mission, vision, and strategy.

Change Management

Manage self during a change and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs, and projects that reflect best practices and changes in the competitive environment.

Operating Environment:

The job holder is responsible for shaping the future direction of the department and ensuring the department delivers on results in the present. The job holder is responsible for responding to all reportees' queries, making the environment always demanding.

Decision Making:

The jobholder is expected to implement plans, contribute to the development of departmental level strategies, and lead their implementation.
The jobholder is responsible for directing the department and leading the development of performance indicators and standards for the division in line with company objectives.
Key decisions having significant impact on the company are referred to the CEO / Board of Directors (relevant board committee) for approval before implementation.
The jobholder exercises financial authority as per the level established in the financial authority matrix within KHK.
