Job Title : Software Engineer (Java Developer) Location : Remote Role type : Temporary role Shift Time : 10 am to 6 pm IST Job Description As a hands-on contributing engineer in the Global Data & Analytics Platform, you will

  • Thrive in all areas of Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) in-line with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles.
  • Participate in designing client-side and server-side architecture & solutions.
  • Write secure & scalable clean code along with unit tests.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure the quality of code, constantly!
  • Develop and manage well-functioning UI, backend services, databases/pipelines.
  • Constantly learn new/emerging technologies and mentor teams.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software & infrastructure. Thrive in a DevOps culture where we build & support the application E2E.
Required :
  • 3-7 years of experience with excellent programming & soft skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or master’s degree in computer science / relevant field.
Technical expertise in :
  • Java (version 17 or higher), TDD, BDD frameworks (must be a primary skill with advanced level expertise)
  • Spring framework (Core, MVC, Data, Cloud, JPA, Transaction, Security, AOP, Spring Batch)
  • SOA and Microservices architecture (REST, SOAP)
  • Messaging & Pub-Sub technologies (MQ, Kafka)
  • Writing complex SQL scripts using both Relational & non-relational databases & ability to smartly leverage data for analytics & decision making
  • Hands-on experience of creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using any Devops tool (GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps/Jenkins etc)
  • In-depth understanding of any cloud platform & experience of building applications over cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
  • UI development using frameworks like React, Vue, Node (as a secondary skill is okay)
