MOSAIC MASON

Key Responsibilities:

• Mosaic Installation : Lay and install mosaics on floors, walls, and other surfaces, ensuring precision and adherence to design plans.
• Surface Preparation : Prepare and clean surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and quality installation.
• Tile Cutting and Shaping : Cut and shape mosaic tiles to fit intricate designs, patterns, and edges using hand tools and cutting machines.
• Pattern Creation : Follow detailed design blueprints and specifications for mosaic layouts, ensuring creative and aesthetic precision.
• Grouting & Sealing : Apply grout to fill gaps between mosaic tiles, smooth out surfaces, and remove excess grout. Seal tiles and grout as required for protection and durability.
• Measurement & Alignment : Measure surfaces to ensure proper tile placement, alignment, and consistent design pattern throughout.
• Quality Control : Ensure the final mosaic installations meet aesthetic standards, with a focus on cleanliness, symmetry, and durability.
• Tool Handling : Use specialized tools like tile cutters, trowels, spacers, and other tools effectively to achieve high-quality results.
• Safety Compliance : Maintain safety standards by using protective equipment and following safety procedures on the job site.
• Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, designers, and other construction professionals to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with the client’s vision.

• Experience : Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a mosaic mason, particularly in the installation of intricate mosaic designs.
• Location : Applicants must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate.
• Availability : Immediate joiners preferred.
• Skills :
  • Expertise in working with various types of mosaic tiles (ceramic, glass, stone, etc.).
  • Precision in cutting and arranging mosaic tiles to fit complex patterns.
  • Ability to read and follow detailed design blueprints and measurements.
  • Strong understanding of different adhesives, grouts, and sealing methods.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to create aesthetically pleasing, symmetrical mosaic designs.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety practices.
