Company: Marsh Client Executive Marine & Cargo (based in Dubai) Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Client Executive to join our growing Marine & Cargo team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing existing accounts and generating new business opportunities within the marine insurance and cargo broking space. You will work closely with our team and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a portfolio of marine and cargo insurance clients
- Prepare insurance slips and negotiate terms with underwriters on behalf of clients
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice
- Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect for new clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance markets and clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in marine insurance broking or underwriting
- Strong understanding of cargo and marine insurance products and the broader shipping/oil and gas industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and markets
- Proficiency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus
- Relevant industry certifications such as those from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or local regulatory bodies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals
