About This Role Join a leading mining company in Perth CBD as a Senior Project Engineer and play a key role in pioneering innovative renewable energy projects. Role: Evaluate current solar PV facility procurement and construction processes to identify cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Research and assess new market technologies to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs. Develop preliminary reports recommending technologies for in-field trials, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, mitigations, and KPIs. Integrate trial results into project estimates and assess benefits and risks. Lead commercial negotiations with technology providers. Oversee trial implementation and reporting within active solar PV projects. Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements, including government entities. Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/ Electrical) Mechanical / Electrical Design understanding is essential. Proven experience in executing projects within the renewable energy sector. Must have a current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role. 4-6 years experience.
