Role Overview : We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team, specializing in API testing and automation . The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing with opportunities to work on automation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our API and web-based applications. Key Responsibilities

• Perform API testing (manual and automated) to ensure application reliability.
• Work on web testing in collaboration with the web team.
• Take ownership of automation tasks and contribute to automation testing frameworks.
• Write and execute test cases, perform debugging, and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Manage deployment processes using tools like Octopus and execute automated tests via TeamCity .
• Utilize JIRA for sprint management and issue tracking.
• Work with GitHub for version control, including branching and merging strategies.
• Query and manage databases using MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL (DBeaver).

Requirements Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in API testing (manual & automation).
• Proficiency in C# and API automation frameworks like Reqnroll (SpecFlow) .
• Hands-on experience with SQL querying and Entity Framework (EF) for database interactions.
• Familiarity with deployment tools (Octopus) and automation test execution (TeamCity).
• Experience with Git (GitHub) for version control and code management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging issues through message flows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills , with experience working in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Microservices, Unit Testing, Component Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) Testing .
• Familiarity with Lens (for viewing Docker images/logs) and Queue Explorer (for message queue debugging).
