Finance Assistant

Role Objective:

• Processing tax payments and reporting compliance
• Reconciliation of Bank Accounts, suspense account, other assets and other liabilities.
• Preparation of MIS for Head office and India management

• Preparation of Basel III Liquidity Ratio (Mid office job handled by Finance).
• Preparation and submission of Head Office MIS on monthly basis.
• Compliance with tax laws for reporting and payment due dates (TDS and GST)
• Preparation & Reporting of Daily MIS to Internal Management & Head office
• Processing tax payment, recording accounting entries and sending NEFT messages through SFMS.
• Verifying NEFT messages or payment to vendor
• Assisting in audits, helping to provide information to auditors and resolving queries.
• RBI reporting ALE, ROR, Basel III, FORM A, CRR , SLR , and other finance related returns .
• Perform all operational activities as assigned by the Team Lead/Department Head, in compliance with local regulations, Doha Bank’s policies and units/departments approved policies and procedures.
• Support Team Lead/Department Head in on ground implementation of the procedural control measures identified through audit, risk and compliance observations.
• Support Team Lead/Department Head in periodically reviewing and updating the RCSAs pertaining to the processes executed within the unit with identified risks and areas for improvement. Also, ensure adherence to the controls defined in the RCSA.
• Support Team Lead in timely rectification of observations / gaps identified by audit, compliance and risk.

• B. Com/BMS/BAF/BBI/CA
• 5 years of banking experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Highly developed accounting and mathematical skills
• Good communication and well versed with Excel and Microsoft applications
