HANA / SQL Developer

Location: Bangalore Experience: 3-4 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced HANA/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in working with SAP HANA, developing complex Stored Procedures (SPs), Models, Views, and creating reports using visualization tools such as Power BI. Knowledge of SAP B1 HANA and expertise in developing intricate SPs with advanced techniques such as cursors and cross joins will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities:

• HANA Development:
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and models in SAP HANA.
• Work on building and enhancing HANA data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Develop and maintain high-performance stored procedures using advanced techniques, including the use of cursors, cross joins, and dynamic SQL.
• SAP B1 HANA Support (Desirable):
• Develop and enhance solutions for SAP Business One on HANA, leveraging your expertise in the SAP B1 environment to provide insights and reporting solutions.
• Data Integration & Management:
• Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure proper data transformation, loading, and processing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and database performance, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
• Business Intelligence & Reporting:
• Work closely with business teams to gather reporting requirements and create actionable data-driven insights.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations based on SAP HANA data.
• Assist in the creation of dynamic reports and analytical views to meet stakeholder needs.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure the development of effective database solutions.
• Document database structures, procedures, models, and reports to ensure clarity and transparency.
• Troubleshoot issues related to database design and reporting tools.

• Experience:
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience as an SQL / HANA Developer.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA, including creating stored procedures, views, and models.
• In-depth experience in writing complex SQL queries using advanced techniques (e.g., cursors, cross joins, etc.).
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of SQL (specifically for SAP HANA), with the ability to write efficient queries, stored procedures, and views.
• Experience with SAP B1 HANA is a plus.
• Proficiency in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI, including the ability to connect to and query HANA databases.
• Problem Solving & Optimization:
• Ability to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex SQL and data issues.
• Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred):
• Experience in SAP Business One (SAP B1) HANA.
• Familiarity with additional data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, Power BI etc.
• Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and transformation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• SAP HANA certification or related SQL certifications are a plus.
