Senior Software Engineer, AI/ML

JOB TITLE: SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER ( AI/ML ) LOCATION: NAVI MUMBAI, INDIA Role Overview: As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at JioSaavn, you will play a critical role in developing and deploying machine learning models that enhance user experiences, drive content recommendations, and optimize our platform. You will work closely with cross functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers, to create scalable and impactful AI solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models for personalized recommendations, content categorization, and user behavior prediction.
• Algorithm Improvement: Continuously improve existing algorithms and models by experimenting with new techniques and approaches to enhance accuracy and performance.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and inform model development and feature engineering.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into the JioSaavn platform and ensure seamless functionality.
• Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies, and apply relevant innovations to our projects.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI models in production, and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a
• collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a strong track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python,Java.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar.
• Expertise in data processing tools and techniques, including experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Hive, Spark, SQL).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to tackling challenges.
