Details of the role: We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Consultant - Legal Counsel to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with a background in law firms and expertise in legal documentation, particularly in the areas of debt and fundraising . You’ll work closely with our Management Team to review and manage key legal matters, ensuring we stay compliant and efficiently navigate complex legal topics. Key Responsibilities: Debt Fundraising Documentation: Review and assist in preparing documentation related to debt fundraises. Regulatory Documentation: Analyze and provide insight into regulatory documentation to ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards. Terms & Conditions / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Documentation: Review and update T&Cs and AML policies as needed. Contract Review: Assess and advise on contracts with external parties across all departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks. Legal Analysis on Market Expansion: Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support market expansion strategies. Ability to work independently and efficiently to conduct contract reviews, strategy and execution. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
