Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar PV Junior Technician/Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring high-quality performance. Role Description: In this role, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, ensuring high-quality performance. This is a hands-on role that offers career growth opportunities in a fast-growing, sustainability-focused company. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist in the design and modelling of solar PV systems using industry-standard software under the guidance of senior team members.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, electricians, and contractors to support project delivery and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Learning and Development: Participate in feasibility studies and troubleshooting efforts while building knowledge of solar PV technologies and industry practices.
- Compliance Assistance: Support audits and inspections to ensure projects align with Irish building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Client Interaction: Provide basic technical input and assist in preparing materials for consultations with clients and business development teams.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and design tools like AutoCAD or similar.
- Partly or fully qualified Electrician with experience.
- Familiarity with Irish regulations and SEAI grant schemes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork capabilities.
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
