Responsibilities: Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act Conduct training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite and at HQ abide by policies and standards Ensure strict compliance with procedures in statutory workplace, safety, health & environment requirements at sites and required premises Implement effective safety management systems, preventive measures, and risk assessments to minimize accidents at the assigned workplace/site Prepare and/or submit safety reports and necessary audits Assist the company in safety-related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programs Work with your safety team of WSH coordinators and supervisors at the project site Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes in safety guidelines Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned by management or supervisor Requirements: • Registered WSH Officer/Safety Officer with MOM for a minimum of 4 years
- Minimum 3 years as a WSH Personnel in construction, with at least one year of experience as a WSHO
- Possess a minimum Diploma in Environment, Health, and Safety Management or related field
