Are you interested in Air & Emissions? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee to join our UKAS accredited Air & Emissions team. As an Emissions Monitoring Technician you’ll be supporting our experts with the testing and monitoring of building foundations at the forefront of a variety of projects. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

1. Under the supervision of an MCERTS L2 Team Leader, undertake emissions monitoring to documented procedures, published standards and protocols and industry best practice.
2. Prepare technical reports for the client, ensuring high attention to detail.
3. Work in a safe manner avoiding hazards to oneself and colleagues, following SOCOTEC UK Ltd’s Health & Safety Policies and customers’ site rules.
4. Undertake any maintenance, calibration, or kit preparation tasks, as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: We’re looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work as part of a busy emissions team. Applicants should have an interest to develop a career in stack emissions monitoring using manual sampling and instrumental analysing techniques. The role will involve both working outdoors and at heights on occasions at a variety of industrial locations, which can be physically and mentally challenging.
